Position

The company is seeking a Field Engineering Manager to oversee the construction engineering activities for the Expo 2030 Riyadh project. This event will showcase global collaboration on sustainable development and innovation from October 2030 to March 2031. With over 40 million expected visits, the project encompasses a 6 km² master plan that includes exhibition space for numerous countries and organizations. The company will manage the infrastructure program, ensuring compliance with international standards and quality assurance throughout the construction process.

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead and maintain project safety culture; enforce company and customer safety policies.
  • Support the quality program with audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
  • Provide constructability inputs during contract phases.
  • Analyze contract terms to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with engineering disciplines to recommend field condition solutions.
  • Manage and supervise field engineers and construction consultants.
  • Prepare training materials for technical teams.
  • Exercise professional judgment to resolve typical construction questions and problems.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in large-scale construction in a contractor role or similar senior role.
  • Experience in the Middle East or GCC region is preferred.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of international standards and safety procedures.
  • Experience with process improvement tools, such as Six Sigma, is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • High proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
