Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the integrated project plan, including scope, milestones, schedules, deliverables, risks, and dependencies.
- Lead all phases of the campus development from design through construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Monitor project performance and implement corrective or recovery actions where required.
- Act as the primary coordination point between the company and key stakeholders, including EDGE General Facilities Management, Tawazun Industrial Park, consultants, contractors, Legal Counsel, and relevant government authorities.
- Coordinate permits, approvals, and regulatory requirements with Abu Dhabi Civil Defence, Abu Dhabi Municipality, and other applicable authorities.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and provide clear progress, risk, and decision updates to senior leadership.
- Support the drafting, review, negotiation, and administration of contracts with consultants, vendors, contractors, and other parties.
- Monitor contractual obligations, deliverables, timelines, and commercial risks, escalating issues where required.
- Coordinate closely with Legal Counsel on contractual, regulatory, and compliance matters.
- Manage consultants, contractors, and third-party vendors to ensure quality, schedule, and contractual performance.
- Support procurement and tendering activities in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
- Track project expenditure, identify cost risks, and recommend optimization opportunities.
- Maintain project governance documentation including risk registers, decision logs, contracts, schedules, and status reports.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, environmental requirements, company policies, and safety standards.
- Maintain strong quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience, ideally within campus, real estate, infrastructure, industrial, or large-scale development projects.
- Proven experience managing projects from design and permitting through construction and handover.
- Strong contract-management experience and exposure to working with Legal Counsel.
- Demonstrated experience engaging government authorities, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders.
- Experience managing consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong understanding of project planning, risk management, budgeting, cost control, and governance.
- Knowledge of facilities management, real estate development, and local permitting processes is highly advantageous.
- Excellent stakeholder-management, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
