Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will:
- Work closely with the client to deliver key projects and ensure stakeholder requirements are met.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop a delivery model while overseeing critical project documents such as the Project Execution Plan and Health and Safety Plan.
- Monitor project deliverables for adherence to established criteria and manage project execution, including business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions.
- Assign project plans to key subordinates, providing insights for performance reviews and development.
- Mobilize company resources and discuss qualifications of project positions with managers.
- Develop budgets, schedules, and plans for various project elements, ensuring goals are met or exceeded.
- Handle change orders promptly and promote technical and commercial excellence throughout the project.
- Report project activity progress and establish weekly meetings to review project status.
Desired Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; a Master's degree or PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years managing utility programs or large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in stormwater.
- Strong team collaboration skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Proven experience in managing budgets, schedules, and resources for large utility projects.
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements related to utility infrastructure and experience in wet infrastructure project delivery.
- Familiarity with the PMC, construction, and design delivery process is advantageous.
- Ability to effectively present information to key stakeholders and function in a multi-organizational environment.
