What You'll Be Doing:
- Plan, direct, supervise, and control the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project.
- Forecast monthly revenue, labor costs, Other Direct Costs (ODCs), and gross profit for the duration of the project.
- Develop and manage the budget; oversee project profitability.
- Responsible for project invoicing and billing, including all accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Oversee the establishment of the Project Management Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other necessary documents.
- Establish project requirements and monitor draft and final deliverables for adherence.
- Assign project execution responsibilities to key subordinates after assessing their qualifications and strengths.
- Monitor and negotiate changes to the project scope with clients and key subcontractors.
- Market and secure additional work with clients while maintaining client relationships.
- Develop career development plans with direct reports and coordinate training needs.
- Identify staffing plans for projects and pursuits, and manage employee performance.
- Participate in professional organizations and attend key conferences for networking and brand exposure.
- Maintain current and timely change orders and promote technical and commercial excellence throughout the project.
- Report project activity progress to management and act as the company representative during program execution.
- Participate in proposal development for project pursuits, client meetings, and presentations.
- Identify business development opportunities and keep current knowledge of project pipelines.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical/business field.
- 10 years of related work experience, with at least 6 years in infrastructure work.
- A broad general technical and business background.
- Ability to meet Parsons’ project management certification requirements.
