Position

The Project Manager role is responsible for ensuring high quality of assigned projects through effective supervision and execution of assignments with respect to time and project schedules. This position also involves assisting in the articulation of comprehensive long-term strategies and plans for the company's non-technical projects, in compliance with overall company objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple, related projects in a coordinated way, achieving benefits that could not occur if the projects were handled separately.
  • Formulate project management budgets and plans keeping in view strategic, operational and implementation costs and the annual improvement plans identified.
  • Manage implementation of new outlets and refurbishing existing outlets, including logistical and technical requirements, to ensure all requirements are met for activation.
  • Identify bottlenecks and optimize the process flow to improve efficiencies, control costs and drive synergies within the project management space.
  • Review and approve project design and tender documents, including the scope of work, bill of quantities, and contractual terms.
  • Prepare feasibility plans and budgets for assigned non-technical projects, ensuring that project implementation is compliant with established budgets.
  • Monitor project against schedules, budgets, and objectives, reporting status to management regularly.
  • Manage sign-off process from consultants on project completion and review completed non-technical projects before handover of assets to relevant departments.
  • Identify current and potential risks in the project to plan for mitigation and initiate timely preventive actions to avoid delays.
  • Analyse reports and metrics, identifying potential issues and undertaking preventive measures to mitigate operational risks.

Requirements

  • 7-9 years of experience in project management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a relevant field; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage and mitigate risks effectively.
