We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead our stormwater management initiatives in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle management for stormwater infrastructure projects, from planning through completion
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress and implement corrective actions as needed
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, consultants, and government agencies to ensure seamless project execution
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost control measures to maintain financial accountability
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; develop contingency plans to address potential challenges
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and technical specifications
- Conduct regular stakeholder meetings and provide progress updates to senior management and clients
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols specific to UAE projects
- Manage contracts and vendor relationships to optimize project delivery and resource allocation
- Monitor project quality standards and implement quality assurance procedures throughout all project phases
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of professional project management experience, with at least 5 years in stormwater or civil infrastructure projects
- Proven experience as a Project Management Consultant (PMC) or in a similar project oversight capacity
- Strong knowledge of stormwater management systems, drainage infrastructure, and civil engineering principles
- Demonstrated expertise in budget management, cost estimation, and financial forecasting
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working on projects in the United Arab Emirates or Middle East region is highly desirable
- Familiarity with UAE building codes, environmental regulations, and local compliance requirements
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification is preferred
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or other design software is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing project requirements
