The experienced in-house Project Manager plays a vital role in driving the successful implementation of various projects within Cigna Healthcare. Working in a dynamic and rapidly changing industry, the individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to oversee and deliver projects of various scale and complexity, from small process enhancements to large-scale programs such as market entry or mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, and within scope, supporting organizational goals and contributing to the overall success of the company. The successful candidate will work directly with senior leadership teams and key subject matter experts to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget under the leadership of the project management function.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Run projects through the complete cycle from ideation to closure and benefit realization.
- Full ownership of project delivery with business judgment, support, and advice on improving delivery methods.
- Collaborate with senior management to define project goals, objectives, and scope.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate project barriers.
- Lead project teams and effectively communicate deliverables, expectations, and timelines.
- Monitor and track project progress against established schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Foster positive relationships with internal stakeholders and facilitate regular project updates.
- Oversee project documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Conduct quality assurance checks and facilitate post-project evaluations.
Experience/Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of proven experience as a project manager, preferably within the healthcare or insurance industry.
- Professional certifications in project management (such as PMP or PRINCE2) are advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, PowerPoint, Visio, Jira, Wrike).
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of creating user stories, features, epics, and UAT support as needed.
- Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE) and Agile methodologies is essential.
Language Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
