Key responsibilities include leading technical input into proposal and conceptual developments, coordinating design and materials specification, and managing procurement and contract tendering stages. You will interface with external parties to ensure compliance with appropriate codes and standards, while also managing Project Management Consultants to ensure effective site supervision and administration.
Additional responsibilities involve directing project management teams through phases of project execution, ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines, and reviewing source materials to determine future project requirements. You will also participate in refining proposals into viable project plans and oversee the preparation of the safety program for the department.
To qualify, a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification is required, alongside a minimum of 12 years of professional experience in Project Engineering/Execution in oil and gas projects. This includes at least 5 years of leading multi-disciplined teams and contractors. The ideal candidate will possess sound project management skills, knowledge of contracts, planning, and budget/cost control, as well as a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
