Project Manager

About
Jobs at this level are responsible for ensuring high quality of assigned projects through effective supervision and execution of assignments with respect to time and project schedules. They assist in the articulation of comprehensive long-term strategies and plans for non-technical projects, in compliance with overall objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple, related projects in a coordinated way, achieving benefits that could not occur if the projects were handled separately.
• Formulate project management budgets and plans, keeping in view strategic, operational, and implementation costs.
• Manage implementation of new outlets and refurbishing existing outlets, including logistical/technical requirements.
• Articulate long-term plans (3 year, 5 year plans, etc.) related to General Projects and perform analysis to highlight these to senior management.
• Prepare feasibility plans, master plans, and budgets for assigned non-technical projects.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and objectives, reporting status to management on a regular basis.
• Evaluate bids received from vendors and participate in price negotiations.
• Identify current and potential risks in the project and plan mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• 6 - 8 years of experience in the project management area, particularly in the technology/telecommunication industry.
• Proficient in data collection and analysis.
• Intermediate proficiency in project management principles and processes.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Project Management.
• Additional education certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) are preferred.
