Key Responsibilities
- Develop project scopes, objectives, and plans involving all relevant stakeholders while ensuring technical feasibility
- Coordinate and manage internal and external resources to accomplish project objectives
- Prepare and manage project budgets; forecast requirements, schedule expenditures and initiate corrective actions as needed
- Create and maintain project documentation covering planning, requirements analysis, risk management, execution and reporting
- Perform risk assessments and manage mitigation actions; handle changes in scope, schedule, and cost
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and systems; report progress regularly to management and clients
- Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors in support of the Supply Chain department
- Ensure quality and safety standards are adhered to throughout all project phases
- Utilize company databases and applications to track manpower, material expenses, accounting and billing
- Contribute to strategic plans and reviews; implement improvements in productivity, quality, and customer service
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent technical qualification in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering
- PMP, Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification preferred
- 8+ years of project management experience; defense industry preferred
- Proven track record of leading a team and delivering projects on time and within budget
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project preferred
