Project Manager

About the Job
In this role, you will manage, supervise, and control the development and implementation of a diverse range of major multi-disciplined engineering projects, from initial inception through to completion and handover. This includes new plants, facilities, and modifications to existing plants and systems. Your focus will be on ensuring optimal and economic project development consistent with Shareholder guidelines.

Job Specific Accountabilities

• Lead and provide technical input into proposal and conceptual developments; coordinate design, materials specification, and technically manage procurement and contract tendering stages.
• Interface with external parties, ensuring adherence to appropriate codes, practices, and standards.
• Manage Project Management Consultant(s) to ensure effective site supervision and project administration is carried out; provide management with information on project progress.
• Lead teams in developing strategies for the implementation of major development projects.
• Direct project management teams through all phases of project execution from initiation to commissioning and startup.
• Manage multinational contractors to ensure projects are executed according to solid project management principles in full compliance with HSE requirements and specified time and cost objectives.
• Review a variety of source materials and participate in meetings to establish future project requirements in your assigned field.
• Participate in refining initial proposals into coherent and viable project plans.
• Ensure all projects are implemented according to established Company procedures and standards.
• Oversee the preparation of the Department’s safety program for the project and ensure compliance with the Company’s safety rules and regulations.

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• 12 years of professional experience in Project Engineering/Execution in Oil & Gas projects, including 5 years in leading multi-disciplined staff and consultants/contractors.
• Project management professional with sound knowledge of contracts, planning, and budget/cost control requirements.
• Demonstrated project management and leadership skills.
