The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Working closely with the client to deliver key projects.
- Collaborating with multiple stakeholders to meet their requirements.
- Developing a delivery model in conjunction with senior leaders.
- Overseeing the establishment of the Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other necessary documents.
- Monitoring project requirements and ensuring draft and final deliverables adhere to these criteria.
- Distributing a summary description of the project to all team members for reference.
- Planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned projects.
- Assigning responsibilities to key subordinates while assessing their qualifications and strengths.
- Mobilizing company resources, liaising with support departments, to create effective project teams.
- Working with management to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for project elements.
- Ensuring project goals are met or exceeded.
- Advising the client on any changes that might affect project cost or schedule.
- Maintaining current and timely change orders and promoting technical and commercial excellence through Quality Assurance processes.
- Monitoring project progress and reporting on significant milestones and potential conditions affecting cost or schedule.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; a Master’s degree or PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing utility programs or large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in stormwater.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop collaborative relationships.
- Experience in delivering wet infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, and resources for large, complex utility projects.
- Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements for utility infrastructure.
- Ability to present information to key stakeholders effectively.
- Experience in PMC projects and understanding of the PMC, construction, and design delivery processes.
- Ability to interact with various levels of project teams, clients, and others, fostering a proactive, collaborative culture.
- Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
