Project Manager

The Project Manager will lead the execution of medium-sized to large and moderately complex GIS projects, ensuring compliance with Hitachi Energy policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety, environmental requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments. The role involves establishing the project execution approach, overseeing project handover, execution planning, and monitoring and controlling both internal and external resources to achieve all project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute projects as per contract scope, schedule, and conditions.
• Review contracts and understand terms, conditions, and associated risks.
• Plan, monitor, and control project activities including handover, execution, and control.
• Develop project schedules and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate with Engineering and customers for approvals and issue resolutions.
• Serve as the single point of contact for customers regarding project issues.
• Collect and document customer feedback to improve satisfaction.
• Prepare and submit project progress reports to customers.
• Monitor change requests and secure necessary approvals.
• Identify risks and implement mitigating actions.
• Coordinate with teams for Factory Acceptance Tests and logistics.
• Report project status to internal stakeholders and ensure compliance with regulations and procedures.

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in electrical engineering is preferred.
• 7 to 12 years of relevant experience in project execution of GIS or substation projects.
• Experience with Saudi Arabia and Middle East customers is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to persuade stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet time, cost, and quality requirements.
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
