About the Job
Expleo is looking for a Project Manager with experience in IBM APPConnect Enterprise for one of its clients in Dubai. In this role, you will oversee the planning, development, and implementation of API management solutions and API gateways, ensuring seamless integration and performance of APIs across various platforms. Key responsibilities include:
- API Management and Gateways: Lead the implementation of solutions utilizing tools such as KONG and IBM API Connect.
- Migration Projects: Manage migration projects from IBM API Connect V5 to V10 with minimal disruption and optimal performance.
- Open Banking Delivery: Drive Open Banking projects, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
- API Security: Implement and maintain robust security measures for APIs in compliance with industry standards.
- Project Management: Utilize best practices to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget. Apply methodologies such as Prince2, Agile, and Waterfall as needed.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure project success.
- Banking Experience: Leverage knowledge of the banking industry to align projects with regulatory standards.

Qualifications
- Proven experience managing API lifecycle and gateways.
- Hands-on experience with IBM API Connect migration projects.
- Demonstrated success in delivering Open Banking solutions.
- Strong knowledge of API security protocols.
- Certification in project management methodologies like Prince2 or PMP.
- 10+ years of experience in middleware development, preferably within a banking context.
