Project Specialist, dnata Global Airport Operations

The company is a global air and travel services provider, connecting people with opportunities across 130+ airports in 34 countries. We are dedicated to enhancing the performance of the company Airport Operations through complex and critical projects across business units. As a Project Specialist, you will support and/or manage projects related to the Passenger and Baggage journeys, as well as the Aircraft Turnaround process.

In this role, you will lead/manage various business and technology projects in alignment with best practices as defined by corporate PMO guidelines. Key responsibilities include ensuring project delivery within agreed scope, costs, and timelines; managing internal and external stakeholders; assessing change impacts and risks; supporting project budgeting; identifying process improvement opportunities, and acting as a subject matter expert in project management and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead/manage multiple projects aligned with organizational goals.
• Facilitate stakeholder management and ensure clear communication.
• Develop tailored project plans based on organizational expectations.
• Support budget planning and monitoring throughout project implementation.
• Identify and facilitate opportunities for business process improvements.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data for actionable insights.

Qualifications:

• Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) is required.
• 5+ years of practical experience in airport operations (passenger, baggage, or aircraft turnaround).
• Proven experience in project management, business improvement, and change management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage large sets of data.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP), Lean Six Sigma, or change management.
