Position

As the Project Supply Chain Manager for PGGI – Project Business Unit, you will directly report to the Supply Chain Manager of PGGI – Business Unit. In this role, you will support the Business with supply chain management related to projects, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders – including Project Managers, Engineering, SCM, Quality, suppliers, and clients for the project procurement activity. You will lead and coordinate supply chain execution across the project business portfolio, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Pro-active participation in Tender-/Capture Team during kick-off and tender progress meetings for selected target projects.
  • Develop schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets to support all procurement requirements under the tender and project.
  • Collaborate with tender teams to identify new suppliers and ensure customer approval for the Tender/project supplier list.
  • Accountable for project schedule and cost as it pertains to supply chain management.
  • Ensure adequate qualification measures and coordinate with SQE as necessary.
  • Communicate, maintain, and update the Project Procurement Plan (PPP) on a monthly basis.
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety as well as business ethics within operational work, contracts, and negotiations.

Requirements:

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or any other suitable qualification.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of professional experience in a project environment and supply chain function.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and solid skills in MS Office; experience with business software such as SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and proven negotiation skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge on Substation, STATCOM products, and processes in large industrial contracts.
