Project Technical Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Project Technical Engineer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks in projects and tenders, typically under the supervision of an experienced senior engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Study tender documents and prepare clarifications and technical proposals in coordination with stakeholders.
• Analyze technical specifications of projects or tenders and translate requirements into design, bill of materials, datasheets, and requests for supplier quotations as applicable.
• Apply domain technical knowledge for developing, verifying, and optimizing technical solutions for projects and tenders.
• Prepare and review design calculations, studies, drawings, and bill of materials for your field of work while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and contribute to the progress of design by following up and resolving issues.
• Act as an interface between customers and stakeholders on technical matters, handling customer queries and responses.
• Interact with suppliers and partners to ensure progress as per schedule and design deliverables.
• Verify supplier documents for technical correctness and customer compliance.
• Coordinate with the site team for technical matters during installation and commissioning, providing guidance and resolving technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
• Uphold the company's core values of safety and integrity.

Your Background:

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a reputed institute.
• A Master’s Degree in power systems or power electronics is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with a good academic track record or 2+ years of experience in a relevant field are encouraged to apply.
• Understanding of power systems, high voltage engineering, reactive power compensation, power electronics, protection relaying, and control systems is preferred.
• General knowledge of substation and transmission networks, power generation, renewables, microgrids, battery energy storage, and substation automation and cybersecurity is beneficial.
• Experience with relevant design or study software is an added advantage.

Language Requirements: Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
