As a Project and Workflow Consultant within the Service & Lab Consulting function, you will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Core Lab Clinical Chemistry, focusing on automation and workflow solutions across pre-analytics, analytics, post-analytics, and IT. In this role, you will be an integral member of the service team, providing support to key accounts throughout crucial phases of the customer journey, including pre-buying, implementation, and transformation/optimization. Your goal will be to drive significant value by improving patient outcomes and enhancing efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and recommend optimized laboratory systems and processes for major customer sites.
  • Generate recommendations and deliver insights to customers by providing sustainable testing solutions that drive value (improved efficiencies, better patient outcomes).
  • Collaborate with regional teams to craft compelling RFP responses that strategically position the company for success.
  • Conduct workflow and system demonstrations/presentations for key accounts.
  • Simulate and quantify the financial impact of workflow improvements to demonstrate overall value and total cost of ownership to customers.
  • Perform simulation exercises to validate Turnaround Time (TAT) targets using proprietary and commercial analytical tools.
  • Conduct post-implementation analysis to assess the impact of system installations on customer operations.
  • Leverage LEAN methodology to identify and collaborate with customers on continuous improvement opportunities, ensuring continued positive customer engagement and driving efficiencies throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Continuously seek and develop opportunities/leads for further customer engagement beyond traditional workflow settings, such as general lab and in-hospital environments.

Who You Are:

  • You hold a University Degree in Bio Medical Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or Medical Technology (preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a clinical chemistry laboratory or related experience is required; laboratory management and LEAN Six Sigma process optimization experience within a healthcare setting is a plus.
  • You are analytical, data and process-minded, proactive, and able to work autonomously or in a team.
  • You possess advanced communication, presentation, executive presence, and interpersonal skills.
  • High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, or Google equivalents is required.
  • You are fluent in English (spoken and written). Proficiency in Arabic is considered a plus.
