How you’ll make an impact
- Execute the projects as per contract scope, schedule, and contractual conditions.
- Review the contract received from sales and understand terms & conditions of project contracts, including awareness of risks of negative impact on margin, performance, and risk factors.
- Plan, monitor, and control the project activities (Scope, Time and Cost) proactively, including project handover, execution planning, monitoring and control activities to accomplish the project goals.
- Develop project schedules and freeze with respective stakeholders (internal and external) and prepare project-wise Master document list and maintain updates.
- Execute the process activities in SAP and maintain documentation as per ISO and internal process requirements throughout the project cycle.
- Coordinate with Engineering and customer for timely approval of drawings and documents and resolution of all projects related queries/issues during execution.
- Serve as the single point of contact and escalation point for customers regarding project issues, assuring that Hitachi Energy commitments to customers are met.
- Improve customer satisfaction and feedback through consistent customer interaction and build trust, confidence & loyalty with customers.
- Prepare and submit project progress reports to customers as per contractual requirements.
- Monitor and document change requests from customers related to project scope and obtain approvals for time extension and additional costs.
- Evaluate and identify the risks in projects proactively and implement mitigating actions and prepare project-specific risks and opportunities management plans.
- Coordinate with customers for Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and arrange timely dispatch clearances, invoicing with the commercial team, and logistics for dispatch of goods, and with the service team for installation, testing, and commissioning at the site.
- Report status or progress to internal stakeholders/management with appropriate details.
- Adhere to the project management processes in the organization.
- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in electrical engineering is preferred.
- Minimum relevant experience of 7 to 12 years in project execution of GIS projects, Substation projects, or similar projects related to the design, supply, installation of High Voltage equipment.
- Preference will be given to those who have experience working with Saudi Arabia & Middle East customers.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to convince stakeholders in the interest of the project.
- Ability to work under pressure to deliver projects on time, within cost, and to quality.
- Knowledge of SAP or another ERP system.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
