AWS ProServe is seeking a ProServe Cloud Architect (PCA), focusing on Financial Services Industries (FSI). This role will be concentrated on assisting FSI customers in building or migrating their business workloads on AWS. From ideation through to build and then to operation, AWS ProServe is dedicated to helping customers accelerate their time-to-value on AWS. This Senior PCA will have a regional remit within the Professional Services team while being based in Riyadh.

Successful candidates will possess executive-level experience in leading, defining, designing, and deploying enterprise-level strategic solutions in the FSI domain, which should include a deep, practical, and hands-on understanding of Banking solutions. Additionally, experience with large-scale cloud migration, automation, and GenAI is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver value: Lead and support local ProServe delivery teams as a Subject Matter Expert to deliver transformational ProServe technical engagements for AWS customers in the FSI domain.
- Pre-sales support: Create and deliver presentations to customers that demonstrate the possibilities in FSI using cloud computing. Collaborate with AWS sales leaders to scope, present, and win new FSI customer engagements.
- Industry Leadership: Identify common customer interests and innovate new technology offerings, working with the global FSI Industry team to leverage leading-edge platform services and ProServe technology offerings.
- Industry Expertise Transfer: Upskill AWS ProServe builders on proven ProServe FSI offerings.

This is an executive-level, customer-facing role that requires traveling to client locations to deliver professional services when necessary.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of technical specialist, design, and architecture experience
- 7+ years of external or internal customer-facing, complex, and large-scale project management experience
- Solid experience with large-scale migration for FSI customers and consulting experience with FSI solutions or as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a financial services organization
- Ability to create compelling customer proposals and executive-level presentation skills
- Demonstrable hands-on experience with FSI domain workloads (e.g., Core Banking)
- Expert-level understanding of Cloud Computing, Hybrid, and Multi-cloud environments
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Cloud Certifications
- Fluent English communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Arabic language proficiency is a plus
