Proxy Product Owner - Trade Product

We are seeking an experienced Proxy Product Owner – Trade Products for a leading banking client in the UAE. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong Trade Finance expertise and a passion for driving digital transformation and product delivery within Transaction Banking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the Proxy Product Owner for Trade Finance products, supporting product strategy, implementation, and enhancements.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Provide subject matter expertise across Trade Finance products, operational processes, controls, and client journeys.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Operations, PMO, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Support testing, implementation, process optimization, automation, and digitization initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in Trade Finance product development, implementation, or delivery within the banking sector.
• Strong knowledge of Trade Finance products, operations, workflows, and controls.
• Experience working in Agile environments and partnering closely with Technology teams.
• Expertise in backlog management, business analysis, requirements gathering, and product delivery.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Exposure to digital banking platforms, APIs, automation, and fintech solutions is highly desirable.
