Position

Amazon is seeking a talented, self-directed marketing expert to drive awareness, customer adoption, and demand generation for Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) cloud computing solutions to the Public Sector in MENAT. The Public Sector Marketing Manager MENAT is an integral part of the MENAT Field Marketing team, responsible for delivering integrated marketing programs and interfacing directly with EMEA and Global Organizations. This role will design and develop marketing initiatives to enhance AWS adoption among technical influencers and decision-makers in sectors such as government, education, healthcare, and state-owned enterprises in MENAT.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute public sector field marketing programs to drive awareness, education, customer adoption, and pipeline acceleration.
  • Apply integrated marketing campaign best practices to improve customer experience across multiple channels.
  • Inform regional planning processes to ensure MENAT public sector target customers and priorities are prominent in marketing activities.
  • Utilize global marketing resources to meet sales requirements and innovate to address needs efficiently.
  • Define targeting and customer segmentation for marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Act as the marketing contact with sales teams, engaging in regular calls, in-person meetings, and planning sessions.
  • Structure demand generation planning by incorporating Public Sector priorities to maximize program success.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Pre-sales, Demand Generation, and Solution Architects teams.
  • Communicate effectively with field marketing stakeholders, ensuring clarity on strategies, goals, and performance metrics.
  • Provide detailed campaign updates through regular business reviews highlighting key metrics and KPIs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs.
  • Proficiency in using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
  • Proven track record in building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute campaigns across various timezones and languages.
  • Fluent in Arabic (speak, write, and read).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience aligning extensive cross-functional teams and agency partners.
  • Familiarity with Public Sector customers in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
