Key Responsibilities
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with suppliers.
- Create purchase orders in ERPNext or other ERP systems and follow up on deliveries.
- Coordinate with warehouse and accounts teams on stock requirements, goods receipts, and supplier payments.
- Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and goods receipt records.
- Maintain accurate supplier, item, pricing, and purchase records in the ERP system.
- Prepare purchase, inventory, and cost reports using advanced Excel.
- Assist with supplier account reconciliation and resolve invoice discrepancies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in purchasing or procurement.
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and data analysis.
- Practical knowledge of ERPNext and other ERP systems, particularly purchasing, inventory, and accounting modules.
- Accounting knowledge, including purchase entries, accounts payable, and supplier reconciliation.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
