Roles and Responsibilities:

Core Python Skills: Proficient in Python language fundamentals, with extensive experience using web frameworks like Flask and FastAPI to construct RESTful APIs. Experience with asynchronous programming via asyncio is essential, along with a thorough understanding of microservices architecture and the ability to write clean, high-performance, and sustainable code.

Security Best Practices: Knowledge of security protocols for microservices, focusing on authentication, authorization, and encryption. Experience in securing APIs using OAuth, JWT, and API gateways is expected.

Web Framework Development: Capable of designing and maintaining high-scale web frameworks using Python in collaboration with front-end engineers. Proficiency in one or more Python-based web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, Pyramid) is necessary.

Object Relational Mappers (ORMs): Experience in designing backend systems that deliver datasets through APIs. This includes using ORMs like SQLAlchemy or Django ORM for managing data, including defining models and handling CRUD operations.

Data Transformations and Database Management: Ability to design and maintain database schemas, optimize retrieval performance, and manage both relational and NoSQL storage solutions. Experience with ETL workflows for data processing is important.
Other Skills:
- Debugging and testing skills, including logging, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
