QA Engineer – Airline IROPS Systems

About the Job:
The company is seeking a QA Engineer with expertise in Airline IROPS (Irregular Operations) Systems. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in airline operations QA, particularly related to flight disruptions, cancellations, and rebooking workflows. Key responsibilities include hands-on testing of systems related to passenger reaccommodation, crew recovery, airport operations, and delay management.

Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years in airline operations QA, with deep expertise in IROPS systems
• Hands-on testing experience in the areas mentioned above
• Primary skill focused on Airline Operations, particularly in Flight Disruptions

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in GDS/PSS platforms (e.g., Amadeus Altéa or similar)
• Familiarity with NDC/IATA disruption standards
• Expertise in functional testing, including end-to-end scenario coverage, user acceptance testing (UAT), and system integration testing (SIT)
• Test automation skills (Selenium / Playwright / REST Assured) for regression of IROPS workflows (secondary skill)
• Exposure to non-functional performance testing during disruption peaks is a plus

Collaboration & Process Skills:

• Experience coordinating with Ops Control, airport teams, and IT in time-critical disruption simulation environments
• Strong skills in defect triage, root cause analysis, and stakeholder reporting during live disruption drill scenarios
