QA Lead

Job Description

• Develop a comprehensive testing strategy focusing on software and hardware components, with an emphasis on retail sector solutions
• Determine quality assurance parameters, track product quality metrics, and provide reports
• Design and implement automated E2E tests in collaboration with the technical team
• Mentor junior QA staff and establish QA best practices
• Collaborate with a cross-functional development team to ensure quality standards
• Advise on tools, coverage, and frameworks to enhance accuracy, repeatability, and scalability of releases

Requirements

• Experience in testing solutions involving software and hardware
• Background in retail sector solutions
• Knowledge of best QA practices (e.g., ISTQB fundamentals)
• Coding skills in JavaScript and Bash for automation tasks
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Physical presence in Dubai for hardware testing

Additional Skills (Preferred)

• Familiarity with Azure services or other cloud platform providers
• Understanding of continuous integration and DevOps concepts
