Key Responsibilities:
- Define and Drive QA Strategy: Establish and refine the overall QA vision and strategy, balancing manual and automated testing.
- Plan and Manage Testing Activities: Oversee test planning and execution across projects while ensuring test coverage aligns with business impact.
- Mentor and Guide QA Engineers: Provide technical guidance to QA Engineers and conduct coaching sessions.
- Ensure Quality Governance and Standards: Standardize testing processes and maintain consistency in documentation and reporting.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, developers, and DevOps to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
- Oversee Test Automation Strategy: Guide the design and optimization of automation frameworks, ensuring integration into CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage Test Environments and Data: Coordinate setup and version control for test consistency.
- Monitor and Report on Quality Metrics: Track key QA KPIs and use insights for continuous improvement.
- Facilitate Release Readiness and Risk Assessment: Lead go/no-go decisions and communicate quality status to stakeholders.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Evaluate tools and processes for efficiency and quality enhancement.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including manual and automation testing.
- 3+ years of leadership experience in QA teams or processes.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC/Agile/Scrum practices.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C#).
- Experience with cloud environments and containerization (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) are desirable.
