You Will
- Own the end-to-end QA strategy, including test planning, automation, performance, and release validation.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and backend systems.
- Lead, mentor, and coach QA engineers—providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and career development support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product requirements are testable, measurable, and aligned with quality objectives.
- Integrate automated testing pipelines within CI/CD processes to enable continuous delivery and reduce regression risks.
- Drive performance, load, and security testing strategies to ensure system reliability and scalability under real-world conditions.
- Evaluate and standardize automation tools, technologies, and best practices across projects.
- Champion data-driven testing approaches and maintain visibility into product quality through KPIs and dashboards.
- Lead defect triage meetings, coordinate release testing, and ensure timely defect resolution and risk reporting.
- Foster a quality-first mindset across engineering teams, advocating for testability and robust system design.
Requirements
To be successful in the role you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- 6–10 years of experience in software testing, including at least 3 years in a QA Lead or similar leadership role.
- Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).
- Strong knowledge of API and backend testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Experience with performance testing (JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, or k6).
- Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (Jira, TestRail).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
- Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to drive cross-team collaboration and influence quality culture.
