As a Tester / QA Engineer, you will be responsible for validating the quality, functionality, and performance of software applications. This involves ensuring defect-free releases by designing test scenarios, executing test cases, detecting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test cases.
  • Perform comprehensive testing: functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance.
  • Validate UI, API, and databases to ensure robust performance.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through closure using industry-standard tools.

Requirements:

  • Analyze business and technical requirements to create effective test scenarios.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, scripts, and test data.
  • Ensure complete coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams—developers, business analysts, and product owners—to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprints, reviews, estimations) to support continuous delivery.
  • Clearly communicate risks, blockers, and progress to stakeholders.

Quality Improvements:

  • Recommend enhancements to testing processes and product quality.
  • Assist in root cause analysis for recurring defects.
  • Contribute to test automation initiatives where applicable.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Experience in manual and/or automated testing (UI, API, database).
  • Familiarity with defect management tools and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality software in fast-paced environments.
