About the Role
The company is seeking an experienced QA/QC Coordinator & Inspector to support and coordinate QA/QC, inspection, and technical quality activities across Oil & Gas, engineering, marine, and industrial projects.
This is a hands-on hybrid role combining QA/QC coordination, site inspection, Third-Party Inspection (TPI), quality documentation, client/vendor coordination, and technical manpower support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved ITPs, QMS requirements, client standards, and applicable industry requirements, while also supporting inspector mobilization, technical recruitment, competency assessment, and resource planning.

Key Responsibilities

  1. QA/QC & Inspection
  • Coordinate QA/QC activities, inspectors, engineers, and technical teams.
  • Conduct and coordinate site inspections to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements, and client requirements.
  • Prepare, review, and manage ITPs, PQPs, inspection checklists, Inspection Requests, NCRs, CAPA, and QMS documentation.
  • Coordinate hold points, witness points, testing, inspections, and final acceptance activities.
  • Identify quality issues and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor NCRs, observations, punch lists, corrective actions, and close-outs.
  • Maintain inspection records, test reports, material documentation, calibration records, and quality dossiers.
  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports.
  1. Quality Management & Compliance
  • Support implementation and maintenance of the company's QMS and project quality requirements.
  • Apply quality improvement methodologies including Six Sigma, DMAIC, SPC, FMEA, Pareto Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, and Ishikawa/Fishbone Analysis.
  • Coordinate and support ISO 9001:2015 audits, Lead Auditor activities, accreditation, and compliance requirements.
  • Support Vendor Inspection and Third-Party Inspection activities.
  • Coordinate applicable inspection and compliance requirements with organizations such as DNV and ABS.
  • Support continuous improvement, process optimization, digitalization, and workflow improvements within QA/QC operations.
  1. TPI & Technical Coordination
  • Lead/support Third-Party Inspection (TPI) activities and inspector mobilization.
  • Coordinate inspection manpower, scheduling, resource allocation, and deployment.
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, consultants, inspectors, and internal technical teams.
  • Support technical activities involving ASNT Level III, PAUT, AUT, PQR, WQT/WPQ, NDT, welding inspection, and welding traceability.
  • Review inspection documentation and ensure technical records are complete, accurate, and traceable.
  1. Technical Recruitment & Manpower
  • Support recruitment and manpower planning for QC Inspectors, QA/QC Engineers, TPI Inspectors, NDT personnel, welding inspectors, and other technical staff.
  • Review CVs, shortlist candidates, and assess technical qualifications and competency.
  • Conduct or support technical interviews and provide candidate recommendations.
  • Support recruitment, mobilization, onboarding, and deployment of inspection personnel.
  • Maintain and develop a pool/database of qualified technical and inspection personnel.
  1. Client & Business Support
  • Support technical proposals, tenders, prequalification submissions, client presentations, and vendor registrations.
  • Provide technical input for QA/QC, inspection, TPI, and manpower scopes.
  • Coordinate with clients and vendors to understand project requirements and deliver inspection services effectively.
  • Support quality audits, accreditation, compliance, and technical process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong professional experience in QA/QC, Inspection, TPI, Oil & Gas, Engineering, Marine, or Industrial Services.
  • Proven experience in both QA/QC coordination and hands-on inspection.
  • Strong knowledge of ITP, PQP, NCR, CAPA, QMS, audits, and quality documentation.
  • Good understanding of ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
  • Knowledge of Vendor Inspection and Third-Party Inspection processes.
  • Familiarity with DNV and ABS requirements is preferred.
  • Technical understanding of NDT, welding inspection, PQR, WQT/WPQ, PAUT, AUT, and welding traceability.
  • Experience in technical recruitment, interviewing, and competency assessment of QA/QC and inspection personnel.
  • Strong coordination skills with clients, vendors, subcontractors, inspectors, and internal teams.
  • Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to project sites within the UAE and, where required, internationally.
