Responsibilities
- Supervise and follow up on electrical progress of works, installation, and commissioning of various units.
- Plan and control the inspection of all electrical works and related activities.
- Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical works.
- Monitor the final inspection of completed electrical works before handing over to the client.
- Review electrical shop drawings and vendor drawings for compliance with contract documents.
- Assess electrical materials submittals for conformance to contract documents.
- Review electrical specifications and calculations for adherence to contract documents.
- Implement the electrical quality assurance plan.
- Review as-built drawings of mechanical works, operation and maintenance manuals, and warranties.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
- Adhere to all SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) procedures prior to commencement and during work tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in oil & gas maintenance.
- Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs related to quality assurance.
- Well-organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
- Proven leadership skills within large organizations.
- Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems effectively.
- Strategic management skills.
