Responsibilities
- Develop and execute quality assurance and quality control procedures.
- Conduct technical validation and verification activities (test planning, test case development, defect identification).
- Analyze and correlate quality engineering data and test results.
- Document discrepancies, defects, and non-conformances with recommendations for resolution.
- Propose innovative approaches to solve quality challenges.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to entry-level QA engineers.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform quality assurance work independently with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and development teams to meet quality objectives.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in QA/QC, quality engineering, or related roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing quality assurance and control procedures.
- Advanced proficiency in manual and automated testing approaches.
- Proven experience in technical validation and verification activities.
- Extensive knowledge of quality engineering data analysis and defect tracking systems.
- Ability to work independently while managing budgets and schedules.
- Experience mentoring junior QA engineers.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality policies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Management, or related field.
- Certification in quality assurance or quality management (ASQ, ISTQB, or equivalent).
- Experience with industry-specific quality standards.
- Proficiency with test automation tools and quality management software.
- Project management experience in engineering or product development.
- Experience in regulated industries (aerospace, medical devices, automotive, or pharmaceutical).
