The QMS & GRC Engineer is responsible for leading the development and deployment of the company AMP2 Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements and automotive best practices. Responsibilities
- Establish and implement Quality Management System (QMS) following ISO 9001 requirements and the company Production System.
- Ensure involvement and cascading of the QMS at the plant level and engage all concerned and interested parties.
- Administer the Qualtrics system to maintain a full document control loop.
- Edit, review, and publish QMS relevant controlled documents in coordination with cross-functional leaders.
- Maintain the QMS system according to change management processes and continuous improvement approaches, including Best Practices and Lessons Learned.
- Conduct training and coaching of all team members regarding QMS to enhance the Quality mindset.
- Support Quality Management reviews and track improvement opportunities.
- Maintain full interface with third-party certification bodies.
- Plan and execute the ISO 9001 initial certification audit and follow-up certification cycle audits.
- Develop internal and external audits planning and ensure smooth execution.
- Establish and track the implementation of action plans for internal and external audits.
- Serve as the company AMP2 Internal Lead Auditor.
- Establish a list of Internal auditors and ensure their training, qualification, and coaching.
- Establish and execute Layered Process Audits planning.
- Develop and track a QMS dashboard and monitor its performance.
- Consolidate QMS processes' performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Plan, prepare, and ensure the execution of the Conformity of Production (CoP) Audit.
- Track the homologation status.
- Establish a training plan for the quality team and track its execution.
- Collect, review, communicate, and track the deployment of regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with the markets where the company operates as well as future markets.
- Work closely with the homologation team to ensure vehicle conformity and manufacturing processes to applicable regulatory requirements (CoP, SASO, DMV, NHTSA, GSO, etc.).
- Conduct GRC conformity audits on both processes and products and track the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Deploy Conformity of Production (CoP) requirements and lead CoP certification audit.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (industrial/quality/manufacturing). A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience implementing Quality systems in a greenfield plant is a plus.
- ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 internal auditor qualification is a must.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing organizations is a must.
- Prior experience with implementing, facilitating, or participating in the ISO 9001:2015 and/or IATF 16949.
- Experience with Conformity of Production Audit (CoP).
- Knowledge of dashboard development, data analysis, and performance reporting, with the ability to develop and maintain KPIs, metrics, and management reports is a plus.
- Proficient in process mapping, SIPOC methodology, process performance management, and risk assessment techniques.
- Hands-on experience with QMS and document control platforms (e.g., Qualtrax), including document lifecycle management, workflow configuration, revision control, change management, training assignments, and compliance tracking is a must.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Creative, energetic, self-motivated, and highly organized.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment within a scalable organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as organizational skills.
- Project management capabilities are a plus.
- Ability to coach and train at different levels of the manufacturing organization.

Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours of paid time off, while salaried/exempt employees accrue up to 160 hours. Eligible employees may also participate in an equity program and/or a discretionary annual cash incentive program, with awards determined based on individual performance, role scope, market considerations, and overall company results.
