Position

Delivers specific delegated Quality Assurance/Audit tasks assigned by a supervisor and completes day-to-day Quality Review and Audit tasks with minimal supervision, while having access to guidance from more experienced team members. The role involves identifying and recommending changes to improve department processes and procedures, as well as assisting in the development of audit guidelines. It requires a seasoned knowledge of accounting and auditing procedures, along with expertise in auditing structures or claim payments. Responsibilities include resolving non-routine issues escalated from junior team members and engaging in forward planning to address potential needs and issues.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in complex audits, third-party audits, ad-hoc projects, and assignments as defined by the Quality Auditor Team Manager.
  • Performs root cause analysis on audit findings to understand the occurrence of those findings.
  • Develops suitable action plans to address root causes and prevent recurrence of issues.
  • Monitors performance trends and agrees on action plans to tackle these trends.
  • Identifies areas for improvement in audit and operational processes and procedures.
  • Collates and reports audit findings to Senior Management accurately and timely.
  • Assists in the development of audit processes and procedures.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert, providing support to fellow Auditors.

Experience & Competencies

  • 2 years’ experience in the Middle East Insurance Market.
  • 2 years’ experience in medical claims and/or an auditing role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Ideally, at least 1 year of NAS Neuron experience.
  • A medical background is preferred.
  • High energy, results-oriented individual who can coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical thinking ability to interpret information and make effective decisions.
  • Willingness to seek guidance on complex issues when necessary.
  • Professional communication skills, attentive listening ability, and rapport-building skills.
  • Competence in managing and resolving conflict effectively.
  • Capability to produce clear and factual reports.
  • Strong presentation skills to convey information and ideas confidently and creatively.
  • Skill in explaining audit findings and providing constructive feedback while working effectively with individuals of varying experience levels and cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to coach fellow Auditors constructively, sharing knowledge and skills.
  • Works comfortably independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Sensitive to the needs of the business and personal needs of the audited individual.
