We are looking for a passionate Software QA Engineer with strong experience in both manual and automation testing. The role requires at least 5 years of QA experience, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in automation. Experience in data testing and validation is essential. As a QA Engineer, you will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to test new features, maintain automated test suites, perform manual testing, validate data, track defects, and enhance QA processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test documentation.
  • Perform functional and non-functional testing.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using a defect-tracking system (e.g., Jira).
  • Participate in release validation and ensure product quality at every stage of development.
  • Assist in building and refining QA processes and workflows.
  • Create and maintain automated tests for UI, API, or backend systems.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, theory, test design techniques, and SDLC/STLC.
    • Experience with testing web applications.
    • Proficient in creating detailed test plans, test suites, test scenarios, and test reports.
    • Skilled in bug-tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
    • Strong experience with API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or cURL.
    • Confident SQL skills for data validation and backend testing.
    • Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
    • Advanced programming skills in languages like JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript.
    • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
    • Proven experience in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch.
