Quality Assurance Engineer (Manual)

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for web applications to ensure comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Perform manual testing of web applications from both GUI and backend perspectives.
• Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
• Conduct regression testing to verify software fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced.
• Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning meetings to provide QA insights.
• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in manual testing of web applications.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in testing web applications from both the GUI and backend perspectives.
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

• Proficiency in English is expected.
