Key Responsibilities
- Testing investment products like Equities and Financial markets.
- Working with Middleware ESB integration, Core banking, SMS Gateway, Reuters, ETLs, and BO reports.
- Preparing and executing Test Cases, conducting System and Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing, and Performance Testing.
- Building continuous testing pipelines in DevOps using tools like Jenkins and GIT.
- Understanding, enhancing, and maintaining existing automation frameworks for different applications.
- Utilizing Functional and API/Web Service Automation tools like Micro Focus-UFT (GUI & API) and Test Complete.
- Monitoring and analyzing server performance counters like CPU, Memory, deadlocks, and connections/threads.
- Managing test and defect management tools like Micro Focus – ALM, Quality Center, JIRA, and Clear Quest.
- Strong expertise in Scripting & Development Languages like VB Script and Java.
- Identifying and recommending troubleshooting mechanics for performance issues and providing workarounds for challenges.
- Writing SQL queries to validate backend transactions, with a good knowledge of database systems (Oracle, Sybase, SQL).
- Updating scripts and test suites for the Application Under Test (AUT) for different releases and change requests.
- Executing automation scripts during regression cycles and communicating issues identified during execution.
- Providing test execution and automation status reports to the automation lead.
- Demonstrating strong communication, customer focus, excellent problem-solving skills, and analytical skills.
Requirements
- 9+ years of professional experience in banking, Trading Platform projects, and Functional and Automation Testing.
- Experience in TradeNet products and applications.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in IT or Business.
- Knowledge of investment products including equity, margin, and Murabaha trading, as well as mobile and online self-service platforms.
