The Quality Assurance Engineer will report to the Project Quality Manager and is responsible for verifying the implementation of the quality program across various functions including engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with project and ISO 9001 requirements, supporting the development of quality management system tools, coordinating audits and inspections, managing corrective actions, as well as providing guidance on quality matters.

Project Overview:
The role is part of the Ar Rjum Project, which involves a green field gold project with multiple open pit mining operations, a processing plant, tailings management facilities, and supporting infrastructure. The project is located in the Central Arabian Gold Region, approximately 200 km northeast of Taif and 26 km south of Al Mouwayh.
Major Responsibilities:
- Assist the Quality Manager in communicating project quality program requirements to the team.
- Lead efforts on Continuous Improvement initiatives and maintain documentation of lessons learned.
- Prepare audit checklists, coordinate audits, and ensure timely closure of findings.
- Liaise with client quality representatives and support during audits.
- Monitor quality activities to ensure compliance with approved plans and requirements.
- Oversee inspections and maintain accurate records of findings.
- Conduct training sessions for project personnel on quality requirements.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering).
- ISO 9001:2015 Certified Lead Auditor (IRCA approved) required.
- Additional quality certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) preferred.
- Minimum 10-12 years of relevant experience, with at least 8 years in a supervisory role in quality.
- Experience with QA/QC activities across various project phases, including knowledge of National Grid (NG) and Saudi Electricity Co (SEC) specifications.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and ISO standards.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical specifications and quality plans.
- Analytical skills to identify key performance metrics and perform root cause analysis.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in English required.
