Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Analysis & Test Planning: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and prepare comprehensive test plans.
- Manual Testing and Documentation: Document test cases and perform manual and automation testing activities.
- Automation: Create and maintain automation test suites to optimize the quality process.
- Performance Testing: Develop and maintain performance testing scripts using the JMeter tool.
- Defect Tracking & Reporting: Manage the defect tracking tool, document testing outcomes, and communicate defects and suggestions for corrections to the development team.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work with development, product, and business teams to resolve issues and propose improvements to enhance testing workflows.
- API Testing: Create and maintain test cases for validating APIs.
Technical Competencies:
- QA certification is preferred.
- Proficiency with defect tracking tools such as Jira and service desk applications.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, and JMeter.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
- Basic understanding of web and mobile application behavior and APIs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of QA experience.
- A strong understanding of shipping, port, trade, logistics (supply chain), or free zone domain knowledge is a bonus.
