Responsibilities
- Organize and execute inspection jobs with professionalism.
- Conduct specific inspections on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities on-site.
- Issue relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, draft and send non-conformance reports to the QC Supervisor.
- Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan, obtain the relevant documentation, and check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls, and inspections.
- Manage documents certifying tests, controls, and inspections.
- Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan.
- Verify special processes and relevant workers’ qualifications.
- Inspect power transformers, switchboard, accumulator batteries, socket outlets, lighting systems, remote terminal units, instruments, cables, tunings, etc.
- Perform visual inspections and dimensional tests, and check rating and material for connections.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in the oil and gas construction sector.
- Previous ADNOC approvals are preferable but not mandatory.
- Mandatory offshore experience is required.
- Electrical certifications (e.g., ATEX, CompEx) are mandatory.
- Familiarity with applicable engineering standards and codes that will be used during QC surveillance activities in onshore and offshore fabrication/construction/EPC projects.
