The Product Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability and quality of the company platform across complex, end-to-end workflows. This role combines functional and technical testing, working across frontend interfaces, backend APIs, and data layers to validate system behavior in a complex SaaS environment.
This is a hands-on quality role for someone who is product-aware, technically confident, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment. The role is responsible for maintaining and evolving automated regression suites, validating business-critical workflows, supporting rapid releases, and using modern tools—including AI-assisted testing—to improve speed, coverage, and efficiency.

Responsibilities
Functional & Technical Testing
- Design and execute test scenarios across frontend, APIs, and data layers.
- Validate complex business workflows in a SaaS/platform environment.
- Perform functional testing across user journeys, configurations, and business-critical processes.
API, Data & Backend Validation
- Perform API testing and validate backend integrations, services, and data flows.
- Work with databases, including PostgreSQL, to validate data accuracy, integrity, and expected system behavior.
- Test backend processes and integrations alongside frontend functionality to ensure end-to-end quality.
Regression Suites & Quality Practices
- Maintain and improve in-house automated regression suites and reusable test scripts.
- Identify gaps in test coverage and continuously improve quality practices across the platform.
- Contribute to test strategy, test planning, quality standards, and release readiness activities.
AI, Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Use AI-assisted testing tools and modern QA practices to improve efficiency, coverage, and problem solving.
- Work closely with Product Owners, engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements, risks, and acceptance criteria.
Fast-Paced Delivery & Issue Resolution
- Support rapid release cycles with reliable, repeatable testing processes and clear communication.
- Perform root cause analysis, support defect investigation, and help engineering teams resolve issues quickly.
Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience in QA/Quality Engineering within SaaS, platform-based, or complex system environments.
- Strong experience testing both frontend and backend systems, including APIs, integrations, and data flows.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar.
- Experience working with relational databases, including SQL queries and PostgreSQL data validation.
- Experience maintaining regression test suites, test scripts, and structured QA documentation.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with Product Owners, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
