Position

The Key responsibility of a Quality Engineer in the company is to safeguard the quality of our products and foster a “Quality Culture.” The job incumbent actively engages in the development and implementation of inspection activities, detection and resolution of problems, making continuous improvement efforts to drive optimization, increase capacity, minimize defects, and reduce cost, ensuring that the products meet the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement quality standards, quality control systems, testing procedures, and methods for inspection of materials, components, or processes in line with the industry standards (FAI).
  • Initiate MRB (Material Review Board) with all stakeholders to understand underlying issues, develop corrective actions, recommend solutions, and improvements.
  • Drive continuous quality improvement by monitoring and enhancing First Pass Yield (FPY) while reducing defect, scrap, and rework rates through effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Conduct functional tests on finished products to ensure operational integrity, performance, and safety before delivery or deployment.
  • Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Validate and document new processes and equipment to ensure they meet quality standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as Quality Controller/Engineer.
  • Knowledge of tools, concepts, and methodologies of Quality.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree or Certification in quality control / quality inspection, quality auditing (ISO 9001 etc.), process analysis, and reliability.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the defence industry with regional exposure.
