About the Job
Under the supervision of BU, GPP/HUB or Local QMS managers, this role supports the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the Business Unit’s QMS, applicable standards, and internal regulations. The job includes organizing and conducting internal audits and supporting certification audits. Responsibilities also involve defining processes with acceptance criteria and providing relevant training to teams about these processes. Additionally, participation in Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and continuous improvement activities is expected.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Implements and ensures adherence to applicable QMS within their area of responsibility while managing and mentoring quality professionals as needed.
  • Provides leadership and technical expertise in Quality Management System solutions to teams.
  • Ensures availability of necessary QMS training and that teams are informed and trained.
  • Supports integrating Voice of the Customer into the QMS through effective customer feedback implementation, including surveys and complaint resolution.
  • Ensures business process mapping (BPM) is current and accessible, utilizing tools like Adonis.
  • Maintains document management system (DMS) for all relevant QMS-related documents.
  • Assists with regular internal audits using GQSA (global quality self-assessment) and Intelex tool.
  • Prepares for and assists during external ISO 9001 audits with certification bodies approved by the company.
  • Contributes to quality governance framework development and implementation in accordance with standards and regulations.
  • Implements metrics and indicators for process performance evaluation and efficiency monitoring.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and the execution of the BU Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
  • Ensures compliance with internal and external regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Upholds the company’s core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for actions and caring for colleagues and the business.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Quality Management (QMS).
  • Internal Auditor Certification is preferable.
  • Lean 6Sigma, Yellow Belt (Quality) and Green Belt (Q&CI) certifications are preferable.
  • Demonstrated experience representing business interests and requirements.
  • Ability to generate new ideas and challenge the status quo.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and Arabic.
