In this role, you will support in reviewing the contractors’ Quality Management System (QMS) related plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and other quality-related documents. You will also monitor non-conforming conditions, ensure effective corrective actions are taken, and participate in quality audits and surveillance.
Major Responsibilities
- Prepare quality audit checklists and participate in audits for contractors and project quality programs.
- Review nonconformities and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Evaluate quality procedures for compliance and draft new procedures as needed.
- Support root cause analyses and develop corrective action plans for quality issues.
- Provide guidance to project teams on QMS requirements.
- Maintain communication with client quality representatives and manage relationships.
- Develop standardized quality metrics for performance monitoring and improvement.
- Conduct quality surveillances on-site, documenting observations and non-conformances.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of experience as a Quality Specialist/Engineer, or 6-9 years of relevant quality work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Technical knowledge in engineering, environmental, procurement, construction, and commissioning practices.
- Proficient in oral and written communication in English.
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications (e.g., BIM 360, Power BI, Microsoft Office).
- ISO 9001 Certified for QMS Requirements is preferred.
- ISO 9001:2015 Certified Auditor/Lead Auditor (IRCA approved) is required.
