Position

The company is looking for an amazingly talented Radar Engineer to support training and maintenance operations within a Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) FPS-117 radar section in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with experience in FPS-117 radars and associated systems, strong computer and systems operation skills, and capable of working collaboratively with all RSAF military ranks from senior officers to junior technicians. **This position is located in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (International Assignment) NO REMOTE WORK

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support RSAF Technicians maintenance, troubleshooting and training working on the FPS-117 radar platform
  • Determines the scope of work and schedules for technical aspects of the contract and monitors progress. Interfaces with Technical personnel to facilitate troubleshooting and maintenance requirement on the radar system.
  • Reviews work produced to ensure that applicable codes, standards, and procedures are followed and that quality is acceptable. Monitors productivity and technical proficiency of assigned technical personnel and makes reassignments as project needs arise.
  • Ensures client criteria and scope are met by all engineering disciplines. Expedites distribution of action items following discussions/meetings with the client and Program/Project Manager.
  • Prepares technical reports, project manuals, and documentation of activity for the client and program/project management.
  • Adheres to scope and direction of contract specifications per Program Manager directions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Engineering degree or Technical Degree (Required)
  • 8+ years related field engineering experience or broad general engineering background supporting TPS-77/78 and FPS-117 radars
  • Strong working knowledge of computer systems
  • Ability to follow directions and program objectives with high attention to detail
  • Must possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and be able to select and apply appropriate engineering solutions
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills; ability to work as part of a team during dynamic operations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

Desired Skills

  • Operational experience working on the TPS 77/78 and FPS-117 radars
  • Prior military experience supporting the TPS 77/78 and FPS-117 radars
  • Familiarity with TPS 77/78 and FPS-117 Radar operations
  • Ability to work and thrive in a different cultural environment
  • Ability to guide and mentor other team members
  • Proven ability to perform in a supervisory/leadership role, excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Familiarity with military command and control operations
