About the Job:
The Radar Integration & Test Engineer is responsible for the integration and testing of radar and electronic warfare hardware with its associated software to ensure its functionality. This role focuses on testing and troubleshooting integration issues between hardware and software throughout the full development lifecycle (from sub-modules to system level), ensuring optimal system performance. Responsibilities:

  • System Integration:
    • Integrate radar hardware (antennas, transmitters, receivers) with its associated software to ensure seamless functionality.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure subsystems are integrated correctly and ready for operational deployment.
    • Perform testing to validate system or subsystem conformity to specifications.
  • Testing and Validation:
    • Develop detailed integration and testing plans based on system requirements, performance specifications, and regulatory standards.
    • Conduct functional and performance testing on radar systems, components, and sub-assemblies.
    • Utilize test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and Vector Network analyzers, to verify radar system and sub-assembly performance.
    • Execute RF subsystem verification based on standard RF parameters (e.g., NF, S-parameters, reflection coefficient, antenna gain, etc.).
    • Conduct system/subsystem testing in laboratories, anechoic chambers, and field environments.
    • Validate system/subsystem performance specifications related to detection and tracking capabilities and accuracies under varying conditions.
  • Automation and Efficiency Improvement:
    • Develop and implement automated testing procedures to enhance testing efficiency and consistency.
    • Recommend system/subsystem design or testing procedure improvements based on test findings.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with junior-level experience in radar are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++ for automation and analysis is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Basic knowledge of radar principles, signal processing, and RF (radio frequency) systems is preferred.
