Work Conditions
- The position requires a technically adept professional who can work across multiple disciplines to ensure system functionality, efficiency, and safety while leading installation and operational activities across the range.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the integration of subsystems and components into the overall range system.
- Conduct system testing and validation to confirm performance and compliance with specifications.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during installation, integration, and testing phases.
- Supervise and guide technicians and artisans during installation, maintenance, and operational activities.
- Perform micromanagement of system setup, calibration, and monitoring during range exercises.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on range systems and related equipment.
- Develop maintenance logs, update technical documentation, and ensure accurate system records.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and range operational procedures at all times.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Systems Engineering (or related field).
- 5+ years of experience in system operations, maintenance, or integration—preferably within a defense, range, or test environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of electronic systems, instrumentation, and field integration.
- Hands-on experience supervising technicians and coordinating field activities.
- Familiarity with defense range safety standards and maintenance best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- Excellent coordination and team communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple technical tasks under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive and safety-driven mindset.
