Key Accountabilities of the Role:
Main Responsibilities:
- Source New to Bank Personal Finance products targeting specified segments and achieve or exceed assigned targets.
- Prepare and maintain a Daily Sales Report (DSR) for all customer visits and company interactions.
- Create and maintain solid relationships with all business entities or individuals involved in sourced business.
- Visit potential companies and institutions to finalize business deals within the targeted turnaround times based on the company's policy, while providing feedback to the Relationship Sales Supervisor (RSS).
- Maintain full awareness of product knowledge and implement it consistently.
- Provide timely and prompt service to customers.
- Adhere to stipulated office timings, maintain following confidentiality and data security, and present oneself appropriately.
- Submit DSR to the respective Branch Manager by the end of each day with complete details; non-compliance may be escalated.
Regular / Occasional Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review Standard Credit Applications to ensure accuracy and authenticity of critical documents (such as Cheques, Bank Statements, Passports, Emirates IDs, Salary Certificates, etc.) before submitting to the Processing Unit (PU).
- Ensure all applications submitted are free from errors and rectify any issues promptly.
- Follow the approval process and escalate any delays to the Branch Manager/Operations Sales Manager (BM/OSM).
- Execute Murabaha contracts with customers representing the company and prepare files according to the checklist; ensure card allocation for issuance through coordinators within 24 hours of signing formalities with customers.
- Monitor Personal Finance disbursement and notify the BM/OSM of any delays from the Card Center.
- Maintain a strong rapport with inter-department colleagues to facilitate a smooth business operation.
- Participate in promotional activities as assigned by the BM/OSM/line manager.
- Initiate cross-selling of other banking products on a best-effort basis when required.
- Immediately escalate customer complaints to the supervisor level.
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this Role:
- Broad knowledge of the company's Personal Finance (PF) and other Retail Banking Group (RBG) products and services.
- Fair knowledge of service standards, sales skills, and software proficiency.
- Good understanding of UAE banking practices, regulations, and associated risks.
- Thorough knowledge of all regulations issued by the Central Bank of the UAE.
- General awareness of competitors in the local market.
