About the Job: The R&D Testing Engineer will be responsible for ensuring samples, setting up tests, conducting the tests, and preparing reports. Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with OHSMS (ISO 45001), EMS (ISO 14001), and QMS (ISO 9001) in the lab. - Manage machine calibration and safety checks in the lab, along with tools inventory management. - Maintain a 5S environment in the Test Lab at all times. - Provide prompt feedback and corrections for any deviations. - Handle document management for proper storage of soft and hard copy documents. - Uphold the company's policies on equal opportunity, cultural diversity, fair treatment, and prevention of harassment. Testing Duties: - Knowledge in IEC 61439-1&6, UL 857, and 60529 standards. - Create and update test plans daily while adhering to test scheduling. - Follow up on test samples and conduct tests systematically following standard operating procedures (SOPs). Report Preparation: - Prepare various test reports with accuracy and attention to detail. Qualifications: Required/Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree or above in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. - 3 to 4 years of experience in power electronics products/module testing. Additional/Preferred Qualifications: - Experience coordinating with production and product testing for new and existing product lines. - Familiarity with IEC and UL standards is an advantage. Physical & Environmental Requirements: - Ability to work in hot and humid conditions. Travel Requirements: - Approximately 10% time travel may be needed. Language Requirements: - Not specified.
