R&D Testing Engineer

This position will be responsible for setting up tests, conducting tests, and preparing reports. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with OHSMS requirements as per ISO 45001, EMS requirements as per ISO 14001, and QMS requirements as per ISO 9001 in the lab and within the company; conducting machine calibration and safety checks in the lab; managing machine and tools inventory in the lab; maintaining 5S in the test lab at all times; providing prompt feedback and corrections for any deviations; managing manpower and document storage, both soft and hard copies; adhering to Vertiv Gulf’s policies on equal opportunity, cultural diversity, fair treatment, and anti-harassment; demonstrating proactive behavior and a strong attitude towards accomplishing tasks; creating and updating test plans daily, ensuring strict compliance with scheduling and test sample follow-up, and conducting various testing systematically according to SOPs; and preparing various test reports with utmost care and accuracy.

Qualifications:
Required/Minimum:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Power Electronics / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3 to 4 years of experience in power electronics products/module testing.

Additional/Preferred:

• Experience coordinating with production and product testing of new and existing product lines.
• Familiarity with IEC and UL standards is an advantage.

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

• Ability to work in hot and humid conditions.
• Travel may be required (up to 10%).
